This little phone is a life saver. I've tried some of the other WiFi phones and headsets for skype and this one by farout does the quality on any other product i've seen.
The range is great, sound quality is excellent with NO ECHO (a definite plus compared to the more expensive phones that echo with every third sentence).
The software that comes with the phone is pretty straight forward with out a lot of customization features, but that's ok because the features on the phone really DO work and work well. One cool feature that I didn't expect is the ability to be able to customize the ring on the base to match your ring on skype (VERY COOL).
No more hanging up on a caller to switch back to skype on your computer either. All you have to do is press speakerphone on the base , put down the handset and switch your audio back over to your PC. So instead of "Can i call you back from the computer" you'll be saying "can you hold on for one sec while I switch over to my PC?"
The phone does show all of your contacts, who is currently calling and call history and is very skype compatible.
The only negative things i have to say about the phoen is that there is no volume control on the phone and no way to hold a call. Also the phone shows a clock on its face by default (when youre not in a call) but the time on the clock is set to military time with no way of changing it. The clock is an added feature I guess, but still it's a feature that could've helped put this phone over the top.
Definitely worth the money for the avid skype user who is looking for a bargain and not looking to spend a mound of money on an iphone service or something similar.
Great product and i do hope to see more products like this in the future!
